I would typically look for a different combo while the other one charged. But when a game centers around guess-work like this, the wait can be frustrating.

I watched a walk-through and I feel like I had a better time watching than I would have had playing… especially since I was able to skip all of the waiting around parts. Maybe if there were more stamps available? Or is that DLC? Now THAT would be funny!

I didn’t bring up Retro City Rampage because apparently the game has had a ton of patchwork that specifically altered most of the stuff people complained about. It’s getting a Second Chance with the Chick, the first non-XBLIG to get one.

See “Retro City Rampage” for reasons why this doesn’t work. See “reality” for why this doesn’t work with a game you just spent 15 bucks on.

I’ve since read that, and I reject it. If that was the developer’s intent (so they say), it really didn’t work, or it worked too well, depending on how you look at it. The mechanics are so close to being that of a micro-transaction game that it would seem most people aren’t “getting it.” It doesn’t come across as “it’s a parody of Zynga/Micro-Transactions.” It comes across as “it was supposed to be one of those games and they aborted.” And if it was a joke, it’s not a funny one, because the punch-line is players have to deal with shitty play mechanics for the sake of parody.

Never mind, I answered my own question by searching up Peggle in the search bar. I feel stupid now.
