I really enjoy it for what it is and the soundtrack is phenomenal; but yeah, the gameplay and design are undeniably sloppy.

In some ways it reminds me of Alien Hominid. You know what they’re shooting for and it nearly looks the part (in a humble, fan created sort of way); but the necessary precision, finesse and maneuverability just aren’t there at all. Big guns and bullet spraying baddies are only part of the arcade shooter/platformer equation.

Still, this is good, silly fun and pretty damn challenging.
