Indie Gamer Chick turns 11 Years Old on July 1, and the big review posting that day is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. It’s been well over ten years since I last reviewed a new release by Tribute Games. The last time? September 29, 2011, just about three months after I started IGC. Check out my review of Wizorb! It’s still around and still fun.. if you’re into that sort of thing.

I don’t see Wizorb as an Arkanoid clone, it simply belongs to the same little genre, like super meat boy belongs to the same genre as super mario. Wizorb has a story element, a shop system and something like a tactical component, I don’t think Arkanoid has that. I don’t like Arkanoid, but i love Wizorb.

In my eyes, there will never be such a thing as too much 8-bit.
That said, “Wizorb” just ain’t my thing.
