It doesn’t help that I’ve played a bunch of RPG-maker games recently and Precipice of Darkness 3 isn’t nearly as good as some of the free games out there.

The systems in this game are neat, the classes are cool and the writing is snappy, but at the end of the day I’m just not having fun playing it. And isn’t that what we play games for in the first place?

I know. I’ve never actually seen MASH. Brian’s a big fan of the show and that was a dig at him.

They relented for the most part, but still refused to use it in the operating room scenes. By the later seasons the show had become more of a political platform than a comedy too, so it really was half-comedy, half-drama.

Oh yeah; this was a game review wasn’t it? Boy, that sure does look like some sort of game!

As much as I really liked the combat system (definitely the best Zeboyd system to date, and that’s saying something), I couldn’t keep it feeling fresh throughout the whole game, though part of that could have been alleviated if I’d switched up jobs more than I did, but I found a party build that I liked and stubbornly stuck with it.

I also tend to like the style of text presented by the game (i.e. the Tycho Newspost Style), so it never felt rambly to me. Can’t blame you if it’s not your thing, though 🙂

Zeboyd have had a lot of practice by now. Your RPG has potential, and it’s much more solid than a lot of first attempts.

I’ve got to say these guys have and always will be an inspiration to the indie game developers community not only in their genre of choice but as a whole.
